Description

Parkes Construction, formerly R. P. Industries completed major portion of the Bridgestone Tire manufacturing facility in Morrison Tennessee in 1994. Total contracts exceeded $20 million. Parkes Construction completed the main office building and the training center as stand alone construction contracts. In addition, Parkes Construction operated as a concrete subcontractor on major portions of the project including highly intricate equipment foundations, tunnels and elevated concrete platforms. The concrete work cannot be shown in marketing materials as all photographs were prohibited. The value of the concrete portions of the project exceeded $14 million.
